How this works:

ABSOLUTE MODE:
One bar (one whole note, four beats, 16 analog clicks, 96 MIDI clocks) is divided into four sections, and each section is assigned with own tempo (20 – 275 BPM). Assignment can be switched on and off, and when it’s off, tempo of last active assignment is used for current section.

WARP MODE:
Length of whole sequence is calculated to match target tempo, and length of each part is determined by ratio between parts.

How many analog pulses or MIDI CLOCK messages is sent by part is possible to set for each part individually (default is 24 MIDI CLOCK messages and 4 analog pulses per part).

Outputs

  • MIDI OUT – sends MIDI clock (24pqn), MIDI start, MIDI continue and MIDI stop messages
  • ANALOG TRIG OUT – sends 5V pulses (4pqn) for syncing analog gear

Inputs

  • ANALOG TRIG IN
  • MIDI IN

Power: 9V DC (adaptor not included)

Dimensions: 100mm(W) x 120mm(H)

Early Tempomat

Tempomat is equipped with BAFUS (Buran Audio Firmware Upgrade System), allowing software upgrades without any external tools, simply by playing audio file to unit’s trig input.
